Who Are we?
We are a local branch of the *Cats Protection National Charity situated south of London, England, in Croydon town. Our main aim is to rescue stray cats and kittens, rehabilitate them and then rehome if possible. Read more about our work. Please note that we can only deal with issues for Croydon and surrounding areas. If you live outside this area please find a local branch that can help you by checking the main HQ local branch listing.

We always need homes for Golden Oldies (cats aged twelve or older) who so often get overlooked in preference for younger cats. Read more about older cats.
Please ring our helpline to offer a home to an older cat or use the Feedback Form.
Our next re-homing day is coming to the URC Church Hall, Sanderstead, on Saturday 6th February 2010 (URC Hall map). Some of our Foster Mums will be bringing along their foster cats for re-homing. Subject to a home visit ( which can be the same day!) you can adopt a cat and take it home. Opening times are 10am-1pm.
Please help to reduce the number of stray & unwanted cats - contact us now.

Following the retirement of our joint co-ordinators from active fostering and the consequent loss of extensive fostering facilities at Purley Cattery our Branch is in urgent need of additional foster homes . Fosterers are people who look after homeless cats on a short term basis until a permanent home can be found. Can you foster a cat in a room in your house or do you have space in your garden for an outdoor pen? Even if you can only look after a cat once or twice a year when a fosterer is on holiday this will be helpful. Fostering is very rewarding and foster fees will be paid. Branch support will be available to new foster mums/dads. Please contact us if you can help.
We always need caring homes for feral cats in barns, at stables or in large gardens. In return for board and lodging they will keep your premises free of mice and rats. For more details see the feral page or to find out more contact us about ferals.
