Without funds to back up all of our work, the branch would amount to nothing. Even if you can't actually help at our fundraising events, we'd still love to see you there. Please do come and support us. Don't forget to check our events page on this website (or become a member and get advance notice through the newsletter).
Other ways to help us raise much-needed funds are:
Would you like to win at least £30* every month? This is the first prize (2nd prize £20, third prize £10) in the 200+ Club which we have been successfully running since 1995. In December, our Grand Christmas Draw prizes total in excess of £1,000. Tickets are £12 each, which are entered into 12 draws throughout the year (including the bumper Christmas Draw).
Entries and cheques must be received before 31st January each year. Please download an application form. Applicants must be 16 years or over. Thank you.
* Prizes depend on the number of tickets sold, so prizes are increased (or decreased) accordingly (but has never fallen below £30).
Prizes of £5, £3 and £2 are offered in a monthly draw as part of a sponsor cat scheme, which has been running for many years. To help us raise money for the Branch's sponsor cats, you can sponsor your own loved cat or in memory of one sadly missed. The draw is open to anyone at any time to be entered into the next month's draw to receive the prizes. The winners, together with their own sponsored cat's name, are also published in the members' newsletter. Even if you don't win, all participants can see their cat's name in print in the Special Cats (monthly) section of the newsletter. Tickets for the scheme are just 50 pence per month per cat (although, for administrative reasons, it would help enormously if you could commit to 6 months or a year in advance). Please contact us for an application form.
Tin collections. On either a regular basis, or as a one-off gesture, Croydon Cats Protection is offered a space in supermarkets to put up a bin for donated cat food tins. If you have one in your supermarket, please donate a tin.
If you have any contact with a local supermarket where we might put more bins, please let us know where.
If you have any further ideas for raising money for the Croydon Cats Protection, please do not hesitate to contact us.
